JCB Family Festival

July, the peak of British summer where we all race to take advantage of the limited helping of sunshine our country is provided! What a weekend this particular event landed. Our flexible animals purred In greenest of grass, our stilt walkers basked in the golden rays and our strongmen flexed in their summer getup!
We were originally approached by JCB in the early months of 2020 to provide an array of entertainment to their annual event and were eager to get involved! Unlike a lot of corporate events, we loved the wholesomeness of this one - not only is their celebration an occasion to thank the hard working staff of JCB, but their family's are also invited along to enjoy the day! Unfortunately due to circumstances we choose to avoid mentioning, the event was delayed but we were overjoyed when it came back around a couple of years later!

The JCB family festival is a fabulous affair, consisting of delicious food stalls, exciting fairground rides, games, multiple arena's hosting exciting displays, an array of music and other activities for all ages to enjoy!
Here at Evolve, we pride ourselves in offering entertainment to adapt to all age groups. The brief was family friendly walkabout acts that suited a festival/carnival theme. Starting with our in house acts, we already had a shopping list of skills and costumes to impress however we love to offer a wide range of multiple skills to keep the audience engaged. We also reached out to a range of specialist performers that we knew would add an extra wow factor to the event.

After a little back and forth, we polished off a fun filled package that consisted of 8 stilt walkers in a range of our summer and festival costumes, a juggling duo, 4 x acrobatic animals, 3 x strongman acrobats and 4 x bubblologists! This provided consistent and varled entertainment over the full duration of the event.

When given the opportunity to provide a healthy sized package to an event, we want to make sure the day runs without a hitch so upon confirmation of this event, we booked in 2 x event managers. The event managers made sure the performers were looked after and kept on schedule!

To save unnecessarily calling performers to arrive before they were required (because nobody wants a sleep deprived creativel), we curated a schedule of staggered arrival times, minimising idle time and allowing more personal time to greet, costume and get each performer ready in time for their sets! Our talented makeup artist added some special touches that helped bring all the costumes to life.

We can confidently say that the day run without a hitch and all acts were fabulously received by the guests!
